The FSC-F-99E® model of mask offers exceptional protection due to its 4-layered structure and antibacterial nano-mesh.
The following is a more detailed analysis of the 4 layered structure:
- The first layer (a mesh non-woven fabric) and the second layer (an antibacterial nano-mesh structure) filters out most viruses.
- The third layer (a melt-blown non-woven filter) is charged with static electricity ensuring filtration of other viruses which may have passed through the first two layers.
- The forth layer consists of a unique non-woven fabric to enhance the durability of the mask so that it can be used repeatedly. It is also designed to help adherence between the mask and face.
- A nose clip on top of the mask is made of memory-foam plastic and for those who wear glasses the sponge used on the clip can help avoid glass fog-up.
This re-usable mask has been developed under co-operation with some of the leading specialists in Environmental Infection Science.
FSC-F-99E® masks meet the standards set by the World Health Organisation (WHO) for protection against pandemic and highly toxic viruses such as the h1n1 virus (swine flu) and the h5n1 virus (avian flu). Our respiratory face masks are designed to offer reliable protection for healthy individuals of the general public against swine-flu and other airborne contaminated particulates which may circulate during close contact with infected persons.
99.7% of particles from the coughing and sneezing of infected persons can be filtered out with this face-mask and discomfort in respiration which is sometimes accompanied with long-term use of respirator-masks is designed to be kept to a minimum.
The WHO is recommending NIOSH (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health in US) the use of certified N99 surgical face masks and FFP2 (European equivalent to NIOSH) or higher certified respirator masks. Our FSC-F-99E® masks comply with both of these international standards.
Although wearing FFP2 certified masks protect healthy individuals from the risk of airborne contamination, it does not guarantee full immunity against swine flu and avian flu. The WHO advises that a combination of FFP2 mask, safety goggles and gloves should be used in the event of exposure to infected aerosol.
Product is manufactured under hygienically controlled conditions in Shanghai, China.

Our production factory is an original equipment manufacturer, or OEM, which manufactures products or components for various other companies on their behalf (3M being one such example).
The factory is also certified with INSPEC EU FFP2 ensuring that our products are manufactured to the highest international standards.

- Consult with your doctor if you experience any discomfort or distress while using a mask.
Because of the concern that a new virus could mutate over time and become more virulent and less susceptible to new vaccines, we believe that using masks that can prevent airborne contamination is the most cost-effective and permanent solution for protecting humans against viruses.
This particular model of mask has been developed under the strict supervision of professor Hayashi of Kyushu University in Japan who is a leading specialist in Environmental Infection Science together with cooperation of the Fudan University in Shanghai which is very highly regarded for its advances in Material Science Technology.
