The CID FSC-F®-V are medical safety glasses/goggles that are designed to protect healthy individuals of the general public from contaminated liquids splashing into the eye. Integral ventilation ports reduce fogging but also prevent contaminated particles entering the protected area.

The ventilation ports of the medical safety goggles have a layer of melt-blown fabric which has a 99.9% Virus Filtration Efficiency rate.

Although wearing CID-FSC-F®-V safety goggles protect healthy individuals from the risk of infection via contaminated particles entering the eye, it does not guarantee full immunity against swine flu and avian flu.

Product is manufactured under hygienically controlled conditions in Shanghai, China.

Directions:

  • In Pandemic circumstances clean the goggles after each use with a cloth and an alcohol-based disinfectant or Chlorine Dioxide and leave to dry in a shady area for at least 12 hours. For best protection please ensure that your face mask is kept on whilst cleaning the goggles.
  • Do not wash in water as it may damage the melt-blown fabric layer inside the ventilation ports.
  • If Goggles and elastic band become dirty, use a soft cloth soaked in a pH balanced soap and use fingers to clean, then apply the normal disinfection procedure. Wipe with a soft cloth avoiding the lens as the surface may damage more easily. Leave to dry naturally.
  • Do not store the goggles in a hot, cold or moist place and avoid direct sunlight.

Warnings:

  • Do not use the product other than to protect against contaminated particles and splashes.
  • NOT suitable for protection against infrared rays, strong visible light or lasers, heavy duty, high impact work or for use as swimming goggles.
  • Do not use under high heat conditions.
  • Do not use repaired or modified products.
  • When using the goggles for the purpose of caring for infected persons please make sure that the goggles form a tight fit on your face.
  • In the case of entering an infected persons' room make sure to open any window(s) for good ventilation in order to minimize the concentration of infected particles in the air.
  • Consult with your doctor if you experience any discomfort or distress while using the protection goggles.
